What incident/event made/influenced/inspired you to set up this organization rather than a business?

The situation of widows in Tanzania is invisible. Widows are economically and socially vulnerable, they are facing injustice and most of them can not afford legal services.

How do you manage and run your organization?

Through stakeholders and lawyers who are willing to volunteer.

What was the most challenging problem you faced in the leadership and management of your NGO?

Grants, international cooperation and Human Resources.

What can you say is your best reward for choosing to found your NGO?

We have improved the status of widows in our community .

What is most pressing? What would you like to have done in the next 3 months? 3years?

More reaching out programs, expand to other regions apart from Arusha.

What makes this organization different from similar organizations?

Our organization is working to accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goal No 5 “Gender Equality” which leaves no woman behind.

How would you describe the organization’s culture/environment?

We value project completion and achievements

In what ways has this organization been most successful in terms of products and services over the years?

We have helped more than 500 widows to attain their rights
