Why Kibada Widows' Voice?

Our Goal

We exist to serve today’s community of women whose husbands have passed away to implement the word of God in Isaiah 1:17 “learn to do right, seek justice, defend the oppressed, take up the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow”. Our passion is for the widow — to meet her where she is, on her terms, in meaningful ways, at appropriate times, and to expect nothing in return.

Our Mission

We are undertaking research and gathering statistics to highlight more incidences of violence against widows to accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals especially goal number 5 “Gender Equality” which leaves no woman behind.

What We Do

Guidance

We provide comprehensive widows’ guidance services through KWV team of experts in clinical psychology, special education psychiatry and rehabilitation.

Projects

We work and communicate with various government institutions, public and private organizations, international communities, religious institutions, various CBO, volunteers, statesmen, and individuals internally and externally; and seek advice and donations to implement various projects for Widows’ development.
